Description

The plug on this yoga mat is sustainably produced in Portugal. The plug has a natural anti-slip effect. For example, you never have to use a towel on a yoga mat or worry about slipping while exercising. When the mat is wet, the mat almost sticks to the yogi, meaning the grip only improves as the intensity increases! Cork is a natural, renewable material that does not require cutting down trees to harvest.

The cork yoga mat is a good choice for e.g. Hot Yoga, stretching, HIIT and Pilates training. The surface of the cork is soft, warm and skin-friendly. Exercising on it feels comfortable and pleasant.

The bottom is a good shock-absorbing ethylene-propylene-diene rubber (EPDM) with unique heat (up to 150 °C), ozone and weather resistance as well as good cold flexibility. EPDM also has excellent insulating properties.

The cork yoga mat, which weighs only around 400 grams, is easy to carry and is therefore a good partner also for adventures and yoga anywhere other than your home. Try it and you will never go back to a regular yoga mat!

Use and maintenance:

With a little extra care, the Cork Yoga Mat will last a long time:

  1. Always roll out the yoga mat with the cork side out to prevent cracking.
  2. Do not leave it in the car or in extremely hot places for long periods of time.
  3. After a sweaty workout, let the yoga mat dry before storing it for a long time. Do not store the yoga mat unless it is completely dry.
  4. Please note that natural rubber can smell and we recommend airing the mat if necessary.
Cleaning the cork yoga mat
  1. Rinse both sides with water. Feel free to use a few drops of mild soap or a mat cleaner. If you are using a yoga mat cleaner, test on a small area of the mat first. Cleaning products with essential oils may stain math, but should not affect the performance of the surface.
  2. Allow your yoga mat to dry completely before rolling it away. You can hang it over a chair or lay it flat on the floor.
