Pétanque

Petanque is a French classic in farm games. The game requires good hand-eye coordination and throwing skills.

The petanque set contains 6 metal balls and 1 wooden cochonnet (or a jack). The team scores points for having their ball(s) closest to the cochonnet. The cochonnet is therefore what you should aim for when you throw your boule. The surface of a pétanque court can be of any material, but fine gravel or sand is most suitable.
