Description
Tibetan cymbals, or Tingsha, have a long tradition in Buddhist ceremonies and rituals. The clear, bright and loud sound of cymbals helps clarify thoughts and improve concentration. cymbals can be used as sounding bowls in meditation, sound therapy, energetic room cleaning or yoga.
When meditating, cymbals can be used to rhythm the transition in the stages of meditation. In yoga, cymbals can be used instead of speech to signal that it is time to move from one asana to the next.
Cymbals are played by gently striking the edges of the cymbals together in a top-down motion.
