Sophie ballerinas are handmade in Europe. The material of the shoe is high-quality leather and suede. The last of the shoe is wider, but not quite as wide as many other barefoot shoes, so please measure your feet carefully to ensure an appropriate size. Only 4 mm thick, the outsole provides an excellent feel on the ground. A removable insole makes it easier to ventilate and clean shoes between uses. You can also use the shoes without insoles if you want an even stronger barefoot feeling. The top of the ballerina has an elastic band that helps the shoe stay on the foot and reduces wear.
Barefoot shoes allow the feet to move naturally without the wrong kind of support or restrictions, which strengthens the muscles in the feet.

How do you measure your foot correctly?
• Place a blank sheet of A4 size paper on a flat, smooth and even surface.
• Step onto the paper with all your weight on the leg.
• Use a pen/pencil to mark the heel and the furthest point from the heel (be careful, it may not always be the big toe)
• Measure the distance between these two points on the feet with a ruler (the difference can be ± 0.5 cm)
• The number obtained is the length of the foot
• Add another 0.5-1.2 cm (ideal clearance) to the length of the foot and you will have the ideal size of your shoe.
• Find your shoe size according to the measurements above by referring to the size chart for each product on our website.
• The size chart indicates the inside length and width of our barefoot shoes in centimeters.
